01Abstract
This project proposes a simple experimental and educational simulation of fluid droplet behavior in microgravity environment and how to irrigate plants in space due to the lack of gravity . It simulates how a controlled irrigation system can be used to grow plants , similar to the technologies used on the International Space Station
02The problem
In microgravity environments , water does not flow downward like on earth . Instead , it forms floating droplets , making it difficult for plants to absorb water properly and difficult in controlling water delivery to roots .
03What we need
A syringe , sponge , water , seeds and cup or a transparent container .
